Christina Little-Manley-Christina loves baking everything from savory buttermilk biscuits, to traditional family cakes and special holiday sweets. Christina’s love of baking started around the age of 3 when she would sit on the kitchen counter and watch her mom make the family’s bread and almost daily desserts. Christina has carried on her family traditions of cooking, canning and candy making, but admits baking is her secret passion.

Enjoy this baked good offering from Christina’s kitchen sprinkled with love and wishes for peace for you and aid to the very worthy cause of feeding hungry community members.

Christina's Bakes: Grandma's Chocolate Cake and Peanut Butter Cake

My grandparents started my love of baking as a child. I love to bake for special occasions, especially coming up with custom cakes for loved one's birthdays. To me, baking and cooking is a way of showing love.

I'm glad to have a chance to put my stress baking (and website building) to good use, to benefit the Central Texas Food Bank! I'm grateful for the opportunity to do something meaningful right now, and grateful to everyone who has volunteered their time and energy to help our neighbors.

Shannon's Bake: Coconut Macaroons

I'm a gluten free evangelist who loves to bake! After being diagnosed as celiac almost 10 years ago, I've learned to convert all my favorite foods gluten free so I can still enjoy them... like chocolate cake!!

I joined the auction to help support the Central Texas Food Bank.
